Staff Privileges

Use this screen to give users access to ENPS Clients.

Users with sufficient privileges can also access this screen via the ENPS Client by right-clicking on the Home folder on the NavBar and selecting Group Maintenance > Staff Privileges.

Concept Example

Given that:

  • The server MYENPSSERVER01 exists in the Servers table.

  • The group Boston exists in the Groups table.

  • The privilege levelsViewer, Editor and Producer exist in the Security table.

  • The users Amy Park, Julie Reid, Mo Smith and Vinny McGee exist in the Staff table.

We combine these elements to give these users access to ENPS. Users are assigned privilege levels and added to groups on the server.

In this example:

  • Amy Park has been added to the Boston group on the MYENPSSERVER01 server. She has been given the Viewer security level in this group.

  • Julie Reid, Mo Smith and Vinny McGee have also been added to the Boston group on the MYENPSSERVER01 server, and each has been assigned a privilege level.

A user can be added to multiple groups on multiple servers, and be assigned the same or different privileges in each. For example, Julie Reid may also be a Viewer, Editor or Producer in the New York group. Mo Smith may also be a Producer or other level in a group on a different server.
