Servers
Use this table to maintain the list of servers in an enterprise.

Description |
ID |
Server name which can be up to 15 characters long. Spaces are not allowed. |
Description |
A name or description for the Server. This name will be visible in the client when navigating via the Enterprise Browser and in other enterprise-related functionality. |
MOS |
Unique name used to identify the server to MOS devices. This can be the same as the ID. |
Buddy |
ID of the Buddy Server. |
IP |
IP address of the server. |
Broadcast Mask |
Not relevant to sites using SignalR, the default mechanism in ENPS for distributing network updates to client workstations. The IP address where the server will send broadcast UDP datagrams. If this field is blank the default address 255.255.255.255 will be used. Use an IP subnet calculator to calculate the broadcast address for a given subnet. These calculators are available on various websites. |
Server Group |
Not required, but can be useful if there are a significant number of servers in the enterprise. Used to record the Group that the server belongs to. For example, the physical location or department name. |

MOS Repeater |
Is the server is a MOS Repeater? |
MOS Server |
Name of the ENPS server sending MOS messages to a MOS Repeater. |
MOS Active Days |
Number of days after the Rundown's End Time that the Rundown's MOS Control Active property will be disabled. Users will not be able to make a Rundown MOS-active for a number of days greater than this value. The MOS Control Active property will be deactivated when NOM Maintenance runs. By default this occurs at 2:00 AM although this time can be changed through NOM Maintenance tool > Window > Folder Info. Multicast IP |
IP address ifMulticasting is enabled. |
Multicast Port |
IP port number if Multicasting is enabled. |
Physical Location |
Description of the physical location of the server. |
Solr URL |
The address of the Search engine. This should be in the form http://<servername>:8080/solr/enps (case sensitive). This is set by the installer and should not need to be changed under normal circumstances. |
Solr Languages |
Select all available languages for optimal search. Double-click setting to open dropdown checklist of languages. |
Site Id |
Reserved for future use. |
Avatar Server |
Reserved field not used by ENPS. |
Admin Emails |
Email addresses that are sent an email notification when users are added, deactivated or reactivated in the Staff table. This functionality works when Active Directory integration is in use. |
