Corretto for Solr

ENPS requires Amazon Corretto OpenJDK. Ensure you only have Coretto version 17 installed.

If the required version of Corretto is not installed, you will be alerted when the Platform Installer is run and will be provided the option to install it automatically.

Uninstall any versions of Corretto other than version 17:

  1. Open Start Menu > Apps & Features.

  2. Search the apps list for Corretto.

  3. Click on each Corretto entry to check the version.

  4. Uninstall all Corretto installations that are not version 17.

    If you can't uninstall Corretto because it is still in use:

    1. Open Task Manager.

    2. Open the Services tab.

    3. Right-click SolrJavaService in the list and select Stop from the popup menu.

    4. Try deleting Corretto again.

    If prompted to restart your system:

    1. Click Yes to restart.
