Story Templates

Story templates allow you to customize any text, production commands, and Story properties that you want to include in multiple Stories.

Create a Story Template

To create a Story template first Start a New Story. If you create the Story in your Personal Folder you must copy it to the Group Folder before you can save it as a template. You can also save an existing Story as a template.

Add text to the Story then use the following options from the Story Ribbon to add additional content.

	Enter production commands using the Production button on the Story tab.
	If you need to define fields for your story click the Select Fields button the Layout tab.
	Click on the Properties button on the Layout tab to view the Story's property fields.
	To save the story as a template click the Save as Template button on the Layout tab. This template will now be available for users who are creating a new story.
