Install the MOS Repeater

Install the MOS Repeater software on the server set up in Preparation.

Install the MOS Repeater

First, get the ENPS Server Installer:

  1. Open your existing ENPS Primary Server.

  2. Open the platform installer folder.

    Contact Us if you cannot find this folder. We will point you to the correct platform installer for your site.

  3. Open the Setups sub-folder.

  4. Copy the ENPS_SERVER.MSI file to your new MOS repeater server.

Next, run the installer:

  1. Run ENPS_SERVER.MSI on the MOS Repeater server.

  2. Wait for the setup preparation screen to finish.

  3. Enter the password you used to install the main ENPS servers.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Deselect the Windows Search Servicesoption.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Acknowledge the recommendation and click Next.

  8. Accept the license agreement and click Next.

  9. Select an appropriate language for your site, or leave it as English US.

    The choice of language does not affect MOS Repeater operation.

  10. Click Next.

  11. Choose to host all components on the F: drive.

  12. Click Next.

  13. Use the default News Wire Profiler Usage setting as this will be disabled later.

  14. Enter the name of your MOS Repeater server.

  15. Click Next.

  16. Set the server role to Yes, it's a Primary Server.

  17. Click Next.

  18. Enter NONE as the name of the Buddy Server.

  19. Click Next.

  20. Enter the name of your organization's Central Server.

    Your organization's Central Server may also be its Primary Server.

  21. Click Next.

  22. (Optional) Enable automatic administrator logon by entering the password for the account used in the currently logged-in session.

  23. Click Next.

  24. Click Next to begin installation.

  25. Wait for installation to complete then restart the server.
