Licensing in ENPS

For an ENPS system to be operational it needs to be activated using a license key. This key is renewed at regular agreed intervals.

There are two high level approaches to licensing:

A cloud-based licensing service that allows licenses to be renewed without any input from the system administrator.

This approach also includes the ability for site system administrators to see which workstations have logged into ENPS and when they were last used, thus allowing them to allocate access based on need.
The traditional approach that involves a key being issued and input into ENPS by a site system administrator.

These keys have a defined duration and a replacement key is issued at renewal time.
