Registry Settings

Modify the registry:

1. Open Start Menu > Registry Editor.

2. Navigate to the following key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem

   

3. If the registry key NtfsMftZoneReservation does not exist there:

   1. Select Edit > New > DWORD Value to create the key.

   2. Right-click the key and select Edit > Modify.

   3. Enter 3 in the Value data field.

      

4. Reboot the server for the registry changes to take effect.
