Searching

Use the search bar to find content, tags and users.

Perform a Search

To perform a search:

  1. In the search bar at the top of the screen, enter your search terms.

  2. Hit Enter.

  3. View the search results with the search term highlighted.

By default, results are returned from +/- 5 days from the date.

Refine a Search

To refine a search with filters:

  1. Perform a search.

  2. Click beside the search to open the Refine Search sidebar.

  3. Set the Required and Optional filters as desired.

    Results only appear if they match all Required filters and at least one of the Optional filters.

  4. View the updated search results.

Search for Tags

To search for tags added to topics or assignments:

  1. Type # in the search bar and begin typing the tag.

    A list of matching tags appears as you type.

  2. Select the matching tag from the list that appears or hit Enter after you have completed typing the tag.

Search for Users

To search for Storytelling users:

  1. Enter @ in the search bar and begin typing the user's name.

    A list of matching users appears as you type.

  2. Select a user to see a list of their topics and assignments.

Save a Search

To save a search to use again later:

  1. Perform a search.

  2. Click in the toolbar.

  3. Select Save View Settings in the dropdown.

Alternatively, to add a search to the navigation bar:

  1. Click .

  2. Select Show All Views.

    Saved searches appear under Searches in the Planning Views and Searches window.

  3. Click .

  4. Select the group and folder that you want to add the view to.

Load a Saved Search

To load a search previously saved:

  1. Click .

  2. Select Show All Views.

    Saved searches appear under Searches in the Planning Views and Searches window.

  3. Click on the saved search to see the search results.
